에스더예요. 오랜만에 글을 올리게 됬네요.
여러분과 너무 좋은 소식을 나눌수 있어 기쁨니다.
하나님이 저에게 쓰리랑카로 단기선교를 갈수 있는 기회를 주셨습니다.
처음으로 가는 선교라서 많이 긴장되지만,
이 일을 통해 하나님을 섬길수 있어서 너무 기쁩니다.
저는 지난 11년 동안 아버지가 돌아가신 충격으로
하나님의 말씀에 불순종한 삶을 살았습니다.
“선교를 왜 가냐? 하나님은 나중에 섬기고, 선교는 다음에 가자” 라고
생각하며 살아왔습니다.
부모님이 목회를 하셔서 어릴때 부터 교회를 다니긴 했지만,
하나님과 특별한 관계는 없었습니다.
하지만 이번 1월1일, 교회 수련회를 통해 저는 하나님을 만나게 되었습니다.
그후, 저는 오직 하나님을 섬기겠다는 마음을 갖게 되었습니다.
이번 여름 SON Ministry 의1000 Glories 에서 쓰나미로 인해 피해받은 나라들에게 1000명의
고등학생들과 대학생을 보내는 단기선교에 참석하게 되었습니다.
저희 팀은 7월27일 부터 8월 12일 까지 쓰리랑카로 갈 예정입니다.
Body worship, Drama, 그리고 여름성경학교를 통해 하나님의 말씀을 전하게 될것입니다.
하나님을 모르는 아이들에게 사랑과 희망을 주고싶습니다.
그러기 위해서는 많은 기도의 후원과 물질의 후원이 필요합니다 ($1700).
이 돈은 저에게는 너무 큰액수이지만
하나님의 능력과 여러분의 기도의 후원으로
이 선교가 성공적이고 축복이 될거라고 믿습니다.
이 선교를 통해 저는 하나님에 대해 더 강한 믿음과 더 깊은 교제를 갖게 될것을 확신합니다.

Dear CMFM Family,
Hello! This is Esther.
I’m more than honored to share such a blessing opportunity with you.
I believe that God is calling me
to be a part of a mission trip that will reach out to Tsunami countries.
It is such a privilege for me because it is the first time I will be going on a mission trip.
Even though I was born into a Christian family, I never knew God personally.
I would tell myself, “I can always go on mission later when I’m grown up.
I’ll serve God tomorrow, but not today.”
But this attitude towards God changed on January 1rst of this year.
I asked God to come into my life completely and never leave my heart again.
I just couldn’t say “no” to God any more.
If I can do anything to serve God and glorify his name, then I am willing to do it.
This summer, God has compelled my heart to join 1000 Glories,
a short-term mission project that will reach out to
countries that have been hit by the Tsunami.
I’m sure you’ve seen it on the news, and yes,
it is a devastating tragedy that this happened.
But that doesn’t mean there is nothing we can do to help.
That is exactly why God has given us this wonderful opportunity
to reach out to those who do not know Christ.
We will be doing body worship, skits, VBS, strengthening churches, building new churches, and most importantly, sharing the love of God through caring and preaching. I will be joining a team with two of my youth group members,
and also a team from New Jersey.
We will be going to a country where help is needed the most—Sri Lanka.
I believe that God will use me to help these people in any way possible.
I want to create a hopeful future for the children who lost everything they had;
and guide their footsteps towards God.
I will need nearly $2000 for this mission trip.
I know, that is A LOT of money.
But I believe that with the power of God, and your prayers and support, t
his will be a blessing experience for the people of Sri Lanka and me as well.
YES, YOU CAN HELP SAVE SRI LANKA!
And I’m not saying only financially.
Your prayers are very crucial for this mission trip.
I will be attacked spiritually, as well as mentally and physically.
If there is anything I would ask you to do for me, i
t is to PRAY for me before and during this trip.
I cannot emphasize how important prayer is at a time like this.
